The number three candidate of the Partido Popular (PP) to the Congress of Deputies in Madrid, Ana Mato, yesterday visited our city to support the three candidates for Melilla and to ask its citizens to give their support to Mariano Rajoy in the upcoming elections , as his opponent, Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, "he despised" Melilla in the past four years. Indeed, Ana Mato felt that our city "deserves much more than it has received in this legislature."

The number three candidate of the Popular Party (PP) in Madrid, Ana Mato asked yesterday melillenses support of the candidacy of Mariano Rajoy next 9-M because "Melillo deserves much more than it has received in this legislature" governed by Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, whom he accused of having "neglected" to our city in the past four years.

Mato, who yesterday visited Melilla to support three candidates PP our city, defended the choice offered by the Spaniards Rajoy, as a candidate who is "committed, reliable, dependable and with an agenda focused on the problems of Spaniards ". However, Zapatero "has not offered anything" neither the Spaniards nor the melillenses, who "deserve a government that really cares for them."

The popular candidate said that his party, if it wins the elections on March 9, "will Melilla in its place." To this end, he stressed the "wonderful candidates" with which the PP is approaching this appointment election, completed with a "good program that aims to address the shortcomings of this legislature."

And, as pointed Ana Mato, the PSOE "has not been agreed Melilla" since he won the elections in 2004, something "I have seen here with colleagues in Europe" as a member of the European Parliament.

In this sense, as he did in his previous visit to Melilla, was asked "where are the additional 25 million euros" that the European Union (EU) went to Melilla to compensate for the loss of EU funds. "They have never reached the 25 million euros despite the effort to achieve cost us," explained Ana Mato, who wanted to know "why Zapatero tries to harm Melilla," where "has not earmarked not a single new investment." "That is a shame," strongly criticized Mato, who stated that the same thing had happened in Madrid "to harm the PP."

However, the candidate was optimistic because "the turning point" offered by the People's Party, investment "can", as their candidate for Melilla, Antonio Gutierrez, Juan Jose Imbroda, María del Carmen Duenas, are " honest people, honest, hardworking, prestigious and with a demonstrated capacity to ensure the interests of the city. "

Without management
In his appearance before the media, Mato stressed that the Government of Zapatero "there has been no management," which has resulted in a loss of "welfare" of the Spanish families, who now live "worse" than in 2004, This has led to a "lack of Illusion and future prospects."
"Spain deserves a change," he continued Mato, for whom Zapatero "has not given size on the front of the Spanish government.

Lastly, highlighted some of the action stars of the PP in the elections, such as tax reduction and the protection of women against gender-based violence.
